We are a reality driven self-defence training centre, with a focus on internal martial arts, combatives and sparring.
The generalised practice of martial arts are for the purpose of attaining greater fitness, strength, flexibility, health and vitality.
The specialised arts of LiuHe-ZiRanMen are for the realisation of practical, realistic self-defence methods, and fighting skills.
Training consists of three components:
Strength and Flexibility training
Internal and External fighting techniques
Traditional Empty hand and Weapons training
Training is achieved in a controlled, safe and friendly environment. Providing the practitioner the necessary means to learn a practical skillset, by way of utilising a hands on approach to self-defence and sparring.
Coach Andrew Chambers

Having trained martial arts since an early age, coach Andrew has explored numerous martial arts over the past 30 years. Committing to Kungfu & Sanda in early 2000, seeking practical skillsets in reality driven self-defence.
Andrew is an instrumental pioneer of LiuHe-ZiRanMen Kungfu here in Melbourne. Founding LiuHe-ZiRanMen Martial Arts in 2016, after being senior instructor at the ZiRanMen Kungfu Academy, under direction of Master Liu Deming
(5th generation ZiRanMen).
Andrew has trained with many highly respected masters, coaches & trainers within the martial arts and fitness industry. Having competed in and achieved competition success, both nationally and internationally. Along with undertaking multiple training pilgrimages overseas, including to Thailand and the famed Shaolin temple in China.
Accompanying his wealth of martial arts experience, Andrew is a Doctor of Chinese medicine. Home Visit Medicine was founded in 2020, after training and working extensively over the past decade in clinical practice.
Andrew promotes the holistic nature of life skill integration, building upon his many years of martial arts practice, medical expertise and clinical practice. Andrew believes all individuals should develop a daily practice of movement, meditation, stretching, along with practical self-defence skillsets.
